Maryum Islamic Center Fundraiser

Welcome to Maryum Islamic Center's annual online fundraising kickoff!

Maryum Islamic Center started as a weekly meeting place for a diverse group of sisters and expanded into educational programs for children and families, and then into regular masjid activities. MIC is perhaps best known for its welcoming and inclusive social environment. At MIC, we pride ourselves on not requiring membership dues or other requirements of belonging, striving to encourage open access and community involvement for all.
Please donate generously to support our growing IQRA program, support our next generation of children and families growing in the deen!

We are conducting a virtual fundraiser event as part of our annual fundraising efforts. MIC is excited to be approaching its' 4th Ramadan season, and aims to continue and expand programming to serve the community.

This past year has been exciting with continued programming to support the education of our children and youth--especially with the addition of our Sheikh for Quran studies. MIC also seeks to continue bringing a wider variety of services such as IQRA, Hifz, weekly halaqas, and special events such as guest speakers and activities to support families. Many in the community attended the lecture by Sheik Yasser Birjas and expressed excitement about the opportunity to listen and participate in an activity aimed at increasing peace in the home.

Maryum Islamic Center has also taken a lead in the community by actively addressing the upswing in various dynamics associated with Islamophobia. MIC has increased involvement with PATH and other faith communities to support the local community, increase dialog, and educate the wider community about who we are as Muslims.

Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, MIC depends upon donations and community participation to meet regularly occurring expenses to continue providing these programs:  monthly rent, facilities upkeep, utilities, staff compensation, training, and supplies. We also depend on the community's assistance to continue to provide zakat assistance.  Over the past year, MIC has been able to render several thousand dollars to local needy families, by the grace of Allah, and by your continued support!

Please click on this link to watch a short video highlighting programs and events at MIC, and to hear from our students and some of our community members. Please donate generously to Maryum Islamic Center to help continue to provide these valuable services to the community, to benefit the future generations to come!

Jazakallah Khairun for your continued generous support!!
